the relationship between them
- Function of switching components and safety devices
First-line inspection of electrical installations
- Triggered safety devices, fuse, circuit breaker, earth leakage
circuit breaker
- Deficiencies in cables: insulation, feed-through and
attachment
- Overheating (temperature damage) and contamination
First-line faults in distribution systems and switching
technology
- Simple diagrams and drawings
- Measuring voltage using the right measuring equipment
- Locating faults using a diagram and measuring equipment
Basic electrical drive technology
- General structure of an electric drive
- Drive motors: three-phase and direct current motors, servo
motors, stepper motor
- Principle of various types of sensors
Inspection and first-line maintenance and faults electrical
drive systems
- Performing inspections on drive systems
- Simple diagrams and drawings: direct starter, difference between
main and control current diagrams
- Measuring voltage and current using the correct measuring
equipment
- Locating faults using a diagram and measuring equipment
Study load:
The preparation for each lesson takes an average of 2 hours. In the
online learning environment you can see whether questions, cases
and assignments are available for this course.
Access to the online teaching material:
- Unlimited access to the teaching material via MijnROVC
- Interaction with the teacher (up to 2 months after
completion)
After the course Electrotechnology – Basic you will be able to:
- Perform simple maintenance tasks
- Resolve first-line faults
Completion:
You finish the course with a digital exam. At the end of the
course, you choose the place, date, and time of your exam. The exam
must take place within 6 weeks after the last course meeting. After
the exam, you will receive your result as soon as possible. If you
pass the exam, you will receive a diploma.
Proof of Participation:
Did you attend at least 50% of the course? Then a proof of
participation will be available for you in MijnROVC. You can easily
download this yourself. If you did not pass the exam, you can still
download the proof of participation. Did you know you can take a
resit exam? Click here for more information.
