Based on a peer-to-peer (P2P) topology, blockchain is a distributed ledger technology (DLT) that allows data to be stored on thousands of servers worldwide, while everyone on the network can see everyone else's entries in near real-time. This makes it difficult for a single user to take control of the network.

Want to know more about how cryptocurrency works? The underlying technology of this is blockchain. To begin with, blockchain is a kind of public ledger. It can be shared by users, and non-changeable transactions are recorded in it, each transaction with a timestamp and linked to the previous transaction. Each digital transaction in this link is called a 'block', hence the name 'blockchain', and it allows a public or selected number of users to participate in this electronic ledger.

Each block is associated with a specific participant. Blockchains can only be changed with the permission of participants in the system, and once data is entered, it can never be deleted. The blockchain contains an irrefutable and verifiable record of every transaction ever made in the system.

Cryptocurrency is a form of payment system that can be used to pay for goods and services. Many companies, meanwhile, issue their own means of payment, often called 'tokens', and these can be traded for the goods and services those companies provide. Compare those tokens to casino tokens. You have to exchange real money into those cryptocurrencies to get the goods or services.

The official description of the exam is Certified Blockchain Cryptocurrency Professional Supreme Master. The exam takes 4 hours, there are 150 questions, and in order to pass you must have scored 75%.
